Our Happiest Day!

On January 11, 2009 at 11:11 am we welcomed into our little family Pyper Michelle Nelson. She weighed 7 lbs 13 oz and was 20" long. We must be the proudest parents in the world! Sometimes we still just can't believe she's ours. After what seemed like a lifetime to wait, and a very uncomfortable pregnancy (for both Rachael AND Mark!), we feel so blessed to finally have her! She is an amazingly good baby, I really don't deserve her. She doesn't really cry, just protests when she isn't fed fast enough. She smiles in her sleep all the time and I think once I even heard her giggle! She is able to hold her head up amazingly well already. We are her biggest fans! I am doing great as well. Loads more energy and getting along great. I love being a mom, my days seem to fly by much faster than I would like, especially since every day that goes by Pyper gets a day older. :(
